Role: Marketing Intern

In my last semester of Undergrad I took on an internship for Mellow Mushroom. Some of my experiencs included graphic design, app building, event promotion, and social media management.
Mellow Mushroom St. Simons Island partnered with local health/fitness group "The Club SSI" to produce Mellow Yoga. It was a free yoga class taught by The Club's profeessional guru's on Mellow Mushroom's back patio. The pair accepted voluntary donations to support the Brantley Animal Rescue Coalition (B.A.R.C.). A social media campaign of Mel O. Mushroom and Dude Shroomington doing yoga in the space was my solution to drum up support and attendance. Our attendance and donation numbers more than doubled after beginning this series.

Date: October 2023
After my internship was completed, I still had a spark for the Pizza Bakers in my heart. As a self teaching tool, I decided to develop an app for ios using Swift. I created an app that lets you find the mellow mushroom closest to you and also shows the pizza menu. Click Here for a detailed video report on the project
Mandy B. had worked for MM for almost 10 years when I began my internship. With that 10 year mark approaching, my first task was writing and shooting a video both congratulating her on the accomplishment and thanking her for her years of exemplary work ethic. Her coworkers on both the corporate and in-house levels had so many amzing things to say, it was a pleasure to shoot this for her.
